SONY VAIO VPCEG37FM Battery
Having purchased a previous good battery and enjoyed good service; then received a bad battery -- which I didn't return when they offered to replace it; I finally ordered another battery from Next Day. This time I received another battery that fit, AND is double the size (more batteries in it). So far it works fine. It was nice to know that the previous battery was bad and not my old Windows 7 laptop. However, because of that bad battery, Next Day gave me a $15 credit on this new battery. I thought that was generous since I didn't follow through with returning the bad battery. This company is legit, sincerely tries to help their customers, and I will buy from them again.
Sony only recommends using their battery -- but no longer makes them. I've used this Next Day Power battery for 3 days. It fit and is charging without any problems, so far. This is my second replacement battery purchase, after a frustrating first try from Batteries Plus Bulbs. Their Duracell battery refused to charge up. After spending many hours to make sure my laptop and programs weren't the problem, I returned the defective battery, then ordered this one from Next Day Power. Not being a tech whiz, it was a relief to get a battery like the Sony original -- that functions. I hope it lasts 5 years, too.
