I admit I own a dinosaur. But I still needed a battery. I called Apple but was told they didn’t sell them anymore. They suggested I go third party so after checking the prices and reviews I went with this one and was not disappointed. Fit perfectly and charged right away

Last time my battery failed I insisted on buying one from Apple. Big mistake. Cause I never used the computer (this is a back up laptop) and a year or two later, the battery would not hold a charge. So this time, I'm saving money by buying an off brand. So far so good. And I will periodically charge and discharge it!
