The power cord works -- and it arrived in a timely fashion (in spite of a snafu on the part of Fed Ex). . . The only "glitch" is that the part of the cord that is detachable needs an extra "push" to be connected to the power supply. Once it's connected it is fine. . .but at first I wasn't "pushing" hard enough and I didn't get any juice. I was up against the clock -- so when it finally did connect, I was extra grateful. Thanks for your help.
When the power adapter for my Toshiba started failing, I was really worried that I would have to spend upwards of $70 or more dollars, money I didn't have at the time. This turned out to be a total match in power supply voltage and wattage. The really big surprise, it has the third prong for "ground" for added safety. I love this unit, and will come back when my other devices start to fail. These people were life-savers. The unit actually feels like it is well made. It has a bit of weight to it and feels solid. In use, it doesn't get super hot which other supplies have done to me. I'm going to be looking into some of their other products.
